MacKay & Sposito, Inc. (M&S) is pleased to announce the addition of Jim Jacks to the M&S Business Development Team.
Jacks says, “M&S has a tremendous reputation and I am delighted to join the team.”
Jacks was previously the SW Washington Public Liaison Officer for Governor Gregoire where he was the primary point of contact on any community concern or stakeholder issue and represented the 60th at events. In addition, Jacks worked for the City of Vancouver, in the City Manager’s Office as the Citizen Advocate for over four and a half years. During his tenure he communicated City policies, procedures, and ordinances to the public; received, responded to and solved, over 4,500 citizen complaints and requests for information; was involved with public outreach to neighborhood associations, other local jurisdictions and the business community; and was involved on many committees, boards and commissions.
An avid member of the SW Washington community, Jacks is involved with the Downtown Vancouver Rotary Club, and has been a Leadership Clark County Board Member since 2002, as well as several other community involvement activities.
Jacks received his B.S. in History from Oregon State University, and his M.A. in Peace Studies from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom.
