Our team’s expertise allows us to design highly permittable projects that avoid time-consuming and expensive pitfalls. We give you the upfront information you need to make balanced decisions.

OUR EXPERTISE

K-12 Education

K-12 Education

K-12 facilities are unique and site planning must focus on student safety by creating an open-campus feel with sight lines to playground areas for teachers and monitors. Thoughtful bus and parent vehicle routing and pedestrian connections are also critical for efficient and safe drop-off and pick-up of students.

Construction schedules are challenging and typically non-negotiable. We will help you navigate important permitting processes to ensure construction occurs with minimal impact to student learning. We will also help you plan construction for school remodels requiring complex site phasing that prioritizes student safety.

Higher Education

Unlike K-12 schools, higher education facilities must accommodate the continuous arrival and departure of students from morning through evening.  Site planning and design for campuses must consider pedestrian, bicycle, vehicle, and public transportation routes and interfaces. These facilities often drive the expansion of public transit routes and require the addition of safe shelter areas across a campus.

Higher education campuses are also constantly expanding and changing.  Our approach to site design requires attention to existing utilities, a passion for student safety, and an understanding of construction phasing.  We will help you develop a well thought out and holistic approach to your campus expansion.
