MacKay Sposito provided site inspection services for the restoration of pavement on 2-miles of Highway 224, SE of the town of Estacada, Oregon. Work items also included the installation of rumble strips, striping, guardrail installation, and traffic control. Quantities were based on field measurements and by tickets provided by the contractor.

The project was completed on time despite some weather delays. The biggest challenge for the contractor was the hauling of pavement from Salem, OR to the job site with at least 1.5-hour hauling time while keeping the mix within temperature specifications. Despite the lack of cell phone service at the site our team was able to be in daily contact with the client regarding project progress.
