The Wanapum Dam Overlook is a scenic viewing area perched above the Wanapum Reservoir with views of the dam and surrounding mountains. To meet current standards, a variety of improvements were designed and constructed.
The project improvements included ADA upgrades, an improved viewing platform with binoculars, interpretive signage panels, picnic tables, gates, and a restroom facility. The existing asphalt access road and parking lot were repaired as well.
MacKay Sposito generate the construction and permitting documents, specifications, and cost estimates. We also assisted Grant County PUD with bidding and permitting and oversaw construction and completion of the project.
