Project Description

Clark College at Boschma Farms represents a transformative vision for higher education in North Clark County. MacKay Sposito played a critical role in this project by guiding site selection, conducting detailed feasibility studies, and leading a robust public involvement process. Working with the North County Oversight Task Force Committee, which included local stakeholders, students, faculty, and elected officials, MacKay Sposito helped shape the guiding principles and master plan for the new campus. The resulting plan features a six-building campus core, community open spaces, an agricultural and environmental sciences zone, restored wetlands, and integrated trail and commercial amenities.

In addition to coordinating technical assessments such as wetland, geotechnical, and storm drainage studies, MacKay Sposito developed cost estimates for infrastructure and performed a comparative analysis of multiple potential sites. The firm also led an inclusive public engagement process involving open houses, campus presentations, and countywide communications, ensuring the project aligned with the College’s vision and community expectations.
