Continuity Planning

Our emergency planners, public involvement specialists, and engineers can help you prepare robust Emergency Action Plans (EAP), Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP), or Disaster Management Plans (DMP). We engage staff and key stakeholders to define the actions you would take to moderate problems at your critical facilities and coordinate with other emergency management authorities. We also facilitate a process to help define the procedures you would follow to communicate with stakeholders during an emergency. Finally, we prepare the maps (i.e. inundation maps) required to identify the affected populations and critical infrastructure to drive effective decision making.

Continuity Plan Testing

A well-drafted continuity plan is only a start. Effective planning requires that a good plan is updated, understood, and regularly tested. We can facilitate regular testing and updates to ensure your stakeholders understand their critical role in the execution of your emergency response. Facilitating these events are a significant effort. We bring the technology, simulation know-how, and comprehensive approach to ensure your continuity plan test is realistic and productive. It’s a community effort, and MacKay Sposito will help you engage your community in your critical planning efforts.
