Project Summary

Client: Washington County
Location:Washington County, OR
Service Provided: Construction Management & Inspection, Land Surveying, Public Involvement

MacKay Sposito is currently providing design engineering, survey and other related professional services for the NW Cornell Road Project for Washington County. The section of NW Cornell Road between NW 113th Avenue and NW 102nd Avenue is currently a 2-lane road with roadside ditches and minimal pedestrian and bicycle improvements, approximately 2600 linear feet.

Washington County contracted with MacKay Sposito to provide topographical survey, preliminary design, public outreach, pre-construction record of survey, and complete construction bid package. The project traffic analysis warranted a 2035 configuration on NW Cornell Road to a uniform 3-lane section with bike lanes and sidewalks along both sides of the roadway The Washington County 2020 Transportation Plan improved NW Cornell Road to the intersection of NW 113th Avenue to a 3-lane roadway with bike lanes and sidewalk. This project will extend those improvements eastward on NW Cornell Road to the NW 102nd Avenue Intersection
