Project Summary

The project included extensive route planning including coordination with WSDOT for future plans regarding Highway US 12, research of existing easements, field environmental studies, wetland delineation, resolution of all existing easements, and extension coordination with multiple utility companies and land owners such as: Bonneville Power Administration, Union Pacific Railroad, JR Simplot, FirstFruits Farms, Granite Farms, Andoveaver (Tesoro) Logistics, LeGrow Water Company, and others. MacKay Sposito obtained all land owner access permissions, performed complete alignment topographic and boundary survey, established existing easements and alignment encumbrances, determined owners of all utility crossings, coordinated utility potholing, obtain utility crossing permissions, obtained railroad permits, coordinated with land owners for easement acquistion, prepared figures, legal descriptions, crop loss evaluation, and compensation offer packets for easement acquistions. MacKay Sposito prepared complete construction drawings including gas pipeline plan and profiles, HDD bore profiles, surface restoration plans, and traffic control plans. MacKay Sposito obtained all necessary construction permits and authorizations.
