Built by Evergreen School District in the late 1950's, Sifton Elementary is one of the oldest schools in the District.  As one of the first projects associated with the largest school bond in Washington state history, successful completion will set the tone for future bond projects and build voter and stakeholder confidence.  MacKay Sposito is proud to be leading the land use approval process and civil engineering design for the project.

Estimated at $38M, the project will construct a new school on the same site while the existing school remains active.  Replacement onsite will require special attention to design layout and construction phasing to ensure design and construction are completed within a tight schedule and allow for the existing school to remain active.  The project will provide much-needed capacity and replace inefficient portables and equipment with new classrooms, administrative offices, a kitchen, a gymnasium, sports fields, playground, parking areas and separate bus and parent drop off areas for improved safety.
